From the beginning of 2009 every child enrolled at Otautau School must wear the school Uniform.

The uniform is made up of:

• Polar Fleece
• Skort (girls)
• Cargo Pants
• Shorts
• Polo Shirt
• White Blouse (girls)
• Vest (optional)

With the exception of the blouse all items are purchased through uniformNZ. They have set up a special wesite to place orders. This can be accessed off the school website.

VESTS - SAFETY:

Every child is issued with a safety vest. These are to be worn to and from the school. They are also to be worn when school activities take students off site. Full details can be found on our vest consent form.

SUN HATS:

During terms 1 and 4 sunhats must be worn by children when outside. Branded school hats may be purchased from the school office.

FAQ:

I dont have internet access, how do i place an order?

Ring or call in at the office and facilities will be available to place an order.

How do i know which size will be suitable for my child/ren?

The school office will hold a sample size of each part of the uniform for trying on.

How often will the prices change?

We have been told the prices are reviewed each year. This will generally occur in December of each year.

Can my child/ren wear something underneath?

Yes, as long as it is a dark navy colour to match the polo shirt or white to match the blouse.

Are there any payment plans available to spread the costs associated with initial purchase?

Yes there are options available, please see the principal to discuss options.

What sort of footwear can my child wear?

Suitable and comfortable footwear appropriate to the overall look and style of the uniforms.

What sort of socks should my child wear?

Choose from one of these options. Plain dark socks. White sports socks. Dark Navy or White tights. It goes without saying the choice will depend on which part of the uniform you are wearing and your gender.

Will there be an opportunity to on sell parts of the uniform if i am moving or if my child has outgrown it?

Items can be listed on the uniform website under recycle, simply list the details and your contact details.
